I wanted to write a blog post but haven’t had much inspiration. All I’ve been wanting to do lately during my free time is watch YouTube, so I’m just going to make a post on my favorite YouTubers and YouTube series. I think I have a pretty diverse list of both bigger and smaller YouTubers that create all kinds of videos, so check them out!
(these are in no particular order. okay. annnd…go)
As I write this I’m watching one of my favorite YouTubers that I’ve been watching since about 2012, Bunny a.k.a. grav3yardgirl. At the moment I’m actually watching her new second channel, banana peppers, which I actually prefer to her original channel, because it reminds me very much so of when I first started watching her. I love playing her videos while doing work, cooking, or cleaning up around the house because she just chats and gives off good, chill, positive, and sometimes, for me at least, nostalgic vibes. She also has a really cool and unique fashion sense and personality all around.
Another YouTuber I started watching sometime last year is Andrew Lowe. My favorite videos of his are his Holiday Cooking with Andrew series. He has a great sarcastic and satirical sense of humor, has simple, clean, and cute fashion sense, and his apartment is aesthetic goals. He also made a song about pizza, which was-who am I kidding-is my anthem.
Did you mean: danisnotonfire
I’m still not over the rebranding, okay? But he’s also super satirical, existential, creative, aesthetic, and intelligent. I appreciate his editing style and the thought and planning that goes into his videos as well. I’m extremely happy for him because he seems so much happier lately and free to be and embrace himself. Strong supporter of the natural curly hair, painted nails, and self love!!
I can’t mention Dan Howell without Phil Lester, a.k.a. AmazingPhil, obviously. He is super positive and creative and honestly underrated. He has came up with so many awesome trends, tags, and games and I feel that he rarely gets the recognition he deserves! Let’s get that Dan:Phil subscriber ratio more equal.
Can’t leave out their gaming channel, DanAndPhilGAMES, of course! I loveee their horror game videos, they will be doing their week of Halloween themed videos soon so YAY! Also, their baking videos are amazing, WOO! Can’t wait, lol. They’re such *friend* goals, ugh.
A very adorable couple on YouTube that is soooo underrated, adorable, and painfully goals is Rose and Rosie. AHH! I think I started watching their channels last year, and I have finally caught up and watched all of their videos. They are a British married couple with 3 channels, Rose Ellen Dix, which they sort of use as their main channel, TheRoxetera, which they use as more of a vlogging channel as well as sexuality, more specifically bisexuality focused discussion channel, and their hilarious gaming channel Let’s Play Games! They have the best chemistry and give such helpful advice, but stay hilarious and real the whole time, and are unapologetically themselves.
I was watching thrift haul videos just this week and saw a HotCheetoMami thrift video recommendation and I’m glad I checked out her channel! Her style is so awesome and she has such an artistic eye for design and fashion. I have only seen a couple of her videos, but will definitely be watching more of her channel in the future, because she has a very bubbly attitude as well!
I found out about Drew Monson’s channel, mytoecold, through Shane Dawson. Drew is so funny without even trying and I’m glad he came back to YouTube! He is super energetic and different, and watching his videos makes me feel more lighthearted and entertained.
Melanie Murphy is an Irish YouTuber who makes various lifestyle, beauty, food and health, and sexuality videos. As I’m going through and linking all of these people’s channels to their names, I’m watching one of Melanie’s Food Diary Vlogs of what she ate and did while in Paris. I’m so jealous everything looks beautiful and encapsulating!
I’ve mentioned Rosanna Pansino’s channel in a past blog post, but her baking videos are so clean, creative, and cute, and her baking line is adorably geeky! I love watching playlists of her baking videos with my sisters, I hope to try out some of her Halloween themed and video game treat recipes soon!
I LOVE Sarah Baska! I’ve seen all of her videos and used to watch her Vines (rip Vine, I miss wasting everyday away scrolling through 6 second videos). Her style and attitude are so sick and chill. Her and her story times are hilarious and I’m constantly learning about new awesome music from her, definitely check out her channel and monthly Spotify playlists. She introduced me and so many others to Tash Sultana, so THANKS GIRRRRRRRRL!!
Another hilarious and stylish Vine babe turned YouTuber is TooTurntTina. She is incredible at doing makeup and hair, and her Halloween costumes are so sick???! I hope she does Halloween/costume/body paint videos or something honestly.
Honestly though, who doesn’t watch and love Shane Dawson? I live for his creepy and conspiracy videos, (that spooky music gets me LIT) and he is also starting a new series on his channel, shane, where he reconnects with people from his past, which is an awesome idea that I definitely see taking off in the future all over YouTube.
Markiplier is such an awesome dude, so sweet and hardworking. He’s my favorite gamer to watch, and he’s currently taking a video posting break that he deserves, but I’m excited to see what he creates next! His live charity streams are SO awesome and inspiring, and he also makes the greatest merch for these monthly charity streams, giving 100% of the proceeds made to them. He’s the bestest.
I found out about Dutch YouTuber Loepsie through a Melanie Murphy video in which she mentioned a Halloween facts and history video that she had made. In addition to her history videos, she makes a ton of hairstyle, makeup, and overall style tutorials based off of icons and characters. I really like watching her Tea Time and lifestyle videos, because they are cozy and make me feel like I have my life together too.
The Queen of YouTube, Jenna Marbles, of course. A beauty and an icon. She is always trending on the YouTube, and is ridiculous with her pets. I relate to her and her dogs. I used to watch her channel a lot in middle school, and aspire to be as cool as her.
Julien Solomita, the second half to a YouTube goals couple, J&J, a.k.a. Jenna and Julien. I love his vlogging and editing style, and the Soundcloud artists that he uses in his vlogs, they all make super chill beats that go so well with his time lapses. I hope to be able to create high quality, chill vlogs and mesmerizing time lapses like he does!
Garrett Watts was also mentioned in my previous August Favorites blog post, and I really hope to see more Halloween/spooky themed videos from him. His editing and video style his really fast paced, but high quality and entertaining. He seems like a pretty authentic, funny, and creative guy.
I don’t know I hadn’t watched or subscribed to this girl’s channel before this past month, but everyone go check out Glam&Gore! Mykie puts so much work and thought into her videos, and creates really creepy video shorts to display her horrifying (a compliment of course) looks. I have learned so much about special effects makeup and recently got some liquid latex to experiment with creating my own realistic, nasty, horror looks! She manages to make appropriate, educational, funny, and entertaining videos with everything she does. Plus her dog, an Alaskan Klee Kai, is ADORABLE. So basically, there’s no excuse to not check out her channel.
Brittney’s channel brittyy44 includes a ton of paranormal, story telling, and ghost hunting videos. She also seems to put a lot of thought and planning into her videos, and even though many of paranormal videos don’t result in many exciting results, it does go to show that she is being real and honest, which I respect because so many people will lie and exaggerate for the views. She has a fun, different costume for each of her “Brittyyween” videos this month, so check her out too if you’re into urban legends, Halloween, creepy thangs, and the paranormal.
I’m obsessed with thrifting videos because they give me inspiration to go on my own thrifting trips, and I love seeing what gems other people can find at their local thrift stores. I was recently binging on symphonieeeee’s thrift and haul videos. Her sense of fashion is very grungy but girly and I love to see how she styles her outfits, they are always so adorable! She’s a smaller YouTuber, but I love that because it makes her that much more relatable and experimentative.
This was such a long post. Why do I do this, smh. (side note: I thought for the longest time “smh” stood for “smack my head”, ya know like *face palm*? I still read it like that in my head whenever I type it. I refuse to think of it as “shaking my head”. smh). At least I got a good amount of my YouTube watch later list completed while creating this post. My watch later list is never ending because I don’t know how to not add every mildly interesting looking video to it.
